    Supply chain needs are dynamic – the number of customers, location of customers, inventory levels, number of orders, order size, fleet utilization, etc. all change.  Your supply chain infrastructure should change to accommodate these dynamics.

    Whether you have automation place, such as route optimization, inventory forecasting or GPS fleet management, an annual assessment will help you determine if you are getting the most from your assets.

    The assessment usually takes 2-4 weeks and is a combination of on-site reviews and off-site analysis. We take a subset your deliveries (e.g. 1000-2000 orders) and perform a full assessment on how efficiently they were delivered, from order entry through schedule and dispatch, inventory loading, delivery and billing.  We track actual miles used by installing GPS on up to 4 trucks.

    Results vary based on a customer’s distribution profile and network, but we have seen a 30% reduction in total transportation costs for some bulk delivery companies.  The results are based on a reduction in fleet, total miles and labor.
