Recurring Trips
If you have a trip that goes to the same customers and uses the same truck, you can setup a recurrence so you don’t have to create orders and build the trip. This is very common in fleet fueling where you go to the same customer locations every day.
To setup a recurring trip, open the trip list and either select and existing trip or create a new one.
Make sure the orders are sequenced correctly (sorted by ETA) and have the correct products. Save the trip and then access the recurrence tab.
- Enter the minutes and hours as the time you want this recurrence to be created. For example, the settings above at 0 minutes and 14 hours will create this trip every day at 2pm. It will NOT create it on Saturday and Sunday.
- It will create a new trip for this truck and create a new order for each order on the trip.
- To find all recurring trips (i.e. template trips) in the trip list, check the ‘recurring trips only’ checkbox.
- Trips created on this template will state in the trip comments what trip template was used.
