BizSpeed and ORTEC hosted a panel discussion with Andy Koplin from Jacobus Energy, Peter Futch from AirGas, and Geoff Auchter from Amerigas.
Jacobus is fleet fuel and wholesale fuel distributor in the Midwest, with a fleet of approximately 300 trucks. AirGas is an atmospheric gas (oxygen, argon, nitrogen, etc) with a fleet of over 5000 trucks. Amerigas is propane distributor that run over 1000 routes per day.
The combination of Andy, Peter, and Geoff is a great mixture as each has slightly different focus areas for KPIs, ranging from margin per stop, to on-time-performance, to more traditional gallons/mile and gals/trip.
